We’ve been looking for a microphones for content creation, but just something small to start, so decided to give this set a try.Here’s what we like:- This microphone set looks as expected from the listing and photos. It arrived packaged well in a little box.- The kit came with two microphones, the receiver, a lightning port adapter, a short charging cable (USB-C), lapel clips, foam and dead-cat windbreaks, and a small pouch to carry the pieces in.- Set up was very simple:1. Plug the receiver into your device.2. Long-press the button on the base of a mic.3. Open your preferred recording app.4. Press Record in your app, and start talking!o Note: You can still use a charging cable while the receiver is attached, which is nice when needed.- Since this kit comes with two mics, you can have a spare charged device, a second pickup point if placing the mics off camera, or you can use them both for interviews with a second speaker.- The instructions specify line of sight for audio transmission, and we had no problem recording while pacing the office. The audio from both mics seemed to mix well, and we were able to speak into each in turn and hear the voices captured smoothly in the final recording.Here’s what we’re neutral about:- It is important to note that the receiver mixes both mic signals into a single mono channel for audio. It does not appear to be possible to record left and right stereo audio channels using the two mics. That said, this kit is just the ticket for most content creators, photographers, vloggers, and podcasters on the go.- Audio quality is compressed via this wireless kit. Do not expect deep lows and accurate highs over standard wireless transmission. The extremes of vocal range can be clipped. If your recordings focus on standard speaking ranges and your target is better-than-a-phone or basic voice recorder, this kit will do the trick. For studio-quality audio over wireless, a far more complex, bulky, and expensive technology stack is required.Here’s what we don’t like:- N/A.Overall we really like this mini mic pro system.
